The Client Newspaper — How it works

System architecture & concept diagrams · one hub, every report, per client
Figure 1 · System architecture

From ad platforms to a client-ready page — automatically

A scheduled job pulls the figures every day, stores them, drafts the mechanical “reads,” and renders each client’s themed hub. Credentials only gate the connectors on the left — everything to the right is serverless.

Figure 2 · Information architecture

One front page, four sections — cloned per client

The hub is the “front page.” Each report is a section a client can open. Creative and Work-in-progress are placeholders today; the same tree is stamped for every client from a config row.

The [Client] Review — Hub masthead · lead story · section tiles Media Performance pacing · funnel · touchpoints best assets · analysis Live SEO Performance GSC impact · rankings health · sprint log Live Creative best assets by hook, format & audience Soon Work in progress sprints · next steps what’s queued Soon Add a client = one config row (name, brand palette, connected accounts) → the whole tree renders.

What the client actually does

The whole point of the “newspaper” feel: a client understands the headline in one glance, then drills only into what interests them.

1 Opens link emailed / bookmarked 2 Reads the verdict one-sentence headline 3 Scans KPI tiles pacing vs goals 4 Opens a section Media / SEO / … 5 Trusts & shares the trust asset

Figures are machine-owned; judgment is human-owned — in one document

Martial’s hard line: automate the figure-gathering and the mechanical description, never the analysis. Both live in the same shared report, so it’s never a “my report / your report.”

MACHINE-OWNED · automatic daily Pull figures (G · Meta · GSC) Pacing & funnel math Best-asset ranking Mechanical “Read” per row “Spend €9.4k = 47% of budget” · “CPA −21% vs target” HUMAN-OWNED · editable slots The verdict / thesis Strategic interpretation Recommended next actions “July is deliberately Meta-led — keeps CPA low while Search comes online.” ONE one shared report — not a data dump, not siloed
